Course of Tactical Periodization in Soccer
Between 15 and 18 of july 2014 on Federal University of Viçosa occurred the Course of Tactical Periodization in Soccer, wich included the participation of students and professionals from 11 different states from Brazil. The course, organised by the Centre of Research and Studies in Soccer from Federal University of Viçosa (NUPEF/UFV), was ministred by Prof. José Guilherme Granja Oliveira, Coach of FC Porto B and Professor of Sports Department from Porto University.

8th Class of Post-Graduation Course in Soccer – 1st module
The coordination of the Post-Graduation Course in Soccer has begun receiving pre-registrations from those interested in joining the 7th Course Class. Lessons begin right after the end of World Cup in 2014 and will follow in January 2015.

Professor Júlio Garganta (PhD) Course
Professor Júlio Garganta, match analyst of the Portuguese National Soccer Team and coordinator of the Soccer Office of the Oporto University – UP, Portugal, will be in Brazil in January 2013 to conduct a course about the tactical component in soccer.

6th Class of the Post-Graduation Course in Soccer – 2nd module
In January 2013 the 2nd Module of lessons of the 6th Class of the Post-Graduation in Soccer will be held. This part of the course will present a more practical approach with tours and work monitoring in clubs which play in the 1st and 2nd Divisions of the Brazilian Championship.

6th Class of the Post-Graduation Course in Soccer – 1st module
It was held in July, the 1st Module of lessons of the Post-Graduation Course in Soccer – lato sensu of the Federal University of Viçosa. The course is taught by professors and coaches with national and international recognition. The class was comprised by 40 professionals from 12 states in Brazil who were in Viçosa from July 6-29. The content taught by the professors dealt with several issues of Soccer, such as: Technical Training, Tactical Training, Physical Training, Sports Psychology, Sports Management, Physiotherapy applied to Soccer and Youth Development.

Visit of Professor Leandro Fernandes Malloy-Diniz (PhD)
Professor Leandro Fernandes Malloy-Diniz, Neuropsychology specialist, has visited the Federal University of Viçosa – UFV, along with MSc and PhD students of his research group, to present projects conducted at the Laboratory of Neuropsychological Investigation – LIN. Another subject covered during this visit was the possibility of partnerships and projects jointly with NUPEF, in soccer.

Professor Pablo Juan Greco, from the Federal University of Minas Gerais – UFMG, a reference in the sports and tactical initiation in team games, conducted lectures and practical lessons with the Graduation and MSc students from the Federal University of Viçosa – UFV at the Department of Physical Education of UFV.
