A Master’s Presentation from a NUPEF student was the first in the Stricto-Sensu Post-Graduation Program in Physical Education (UFV-UFJF) held at an European University
It was held on Tuesday (30th June), from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the auditorium of the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto (FADEUP), the Master’s Dissertation Presentation of the student Rodrigo de Miranda Monteiro Santos (member of the NUPEF’s Match Analysis Laboratory). Professors Israel Teoldo da Costa (NUPEF’s coordinator and adviser of the dissertation), Ricardo Duarte (professor at the Faculty of Human Kinetics of the University of Lisbon, and co-adviser of the dissertation), José Guilherme Oliveira (FADEUP) and Daniel Barreira (FADEUP) made up the board of examiners.
The Master’s Dissertation, entitled “Interpersonal Coordination in Soccer: Analysis of Patterns of Relative Numerical Relations in Goal-Scoring Possessions”, was the first in the Stricto-Sensu Post-Graduation Program in Physical Education from the Universidade Federal de Viçosa, in partnership with the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, to be presented in an European University. Academic evaluations with such characteristics became possible due to actions of academic and scientific partnership between both institutions and were held under the cooperation agreement between the Universidade Federal de Viçosa and the University of Porto.
