Previous editions
In its first edition in 2013 the Soccer Experience was attended by professor PhD Júlio Garganta. He taught a course on the tactical component and talent training in soccer. In this edition, all the vacancies were filled and we had representatives of 15 federative units of Brazil.
The second edition of Soccer Experience occurred in 2013 with the presence of Professor PhD Antônio Figueiredo, director of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. At the time the said professor taught a course especially directed to the formation in the base categories, where he addressed the importance of the maturation for the sporting performance of the young soccer players. In this edition we had participants from 18 Brazilian states.
In the year 2014 in its third edition, Soccer Experience was attended by Professor PhD José Guilherme Granja Oliveira, coordinator of the Soccer Office of the Faculty of Sport of the University of Porto, Portugal. He taught the course on Tactical Periodization in Soccer. This edition also filled all the vacancies and participation of people from 15 federal units from Brazil and Canada.
In the 2016 editions, the 4th and 5th Soccer Experience presented new formats, based on the suggestions coming from previous events. This year, the 4th edition was attended by several national and international guests, including the presence of professionals from Brazilian clubs, Qatar and Professor PhD Tomás Garcia Calvo, from the University of Extremadura – Spain. The 5th edition was attended by Profa. PhD Isabel Mesquita addressing the theme Coaching and Training Models of Coaches in Europe. In addition, these events reserved space for the presentation of papers, where all the lecturers were able to share with the participants their experiences and present some of the work they have developed.
